I’m Amy and I’m excited to help start your child’s lifelong learning journey with you!

I am a primary school teacher with more than 15 years experience in early years and key stage 1. I currently teach in Reception in Brighton and have previously also held positions leading in Nursery, Reception and Year One settings. I love teaching and am passionate about giving children the best start in life. It’s never too soon or too late to begin their love of learning!

I’m also a Mum to a 5 year old boy and 9 year old girl. I know what it’s like to be overwhelmed with advice on parenting and educating our children. My classes demonstrate proven methods that are engaging and accessible. It is also my aim to help you feel confident in supporting your child in these first stages of their education journey.

I know how hard it can be to find the space and time to dedicate to our childrens’ learning (that pile of washing, or never-ending list of work to-dos have always haunted me!). My classes are an opportunity to get out of the home; interact, play and connect. Classes like mine provide parents with opportunities to spend time with others in shared experience. I treasure the friendships I made at parents groups when my children were little and offer time for a cuppa and chat at the end of the session, for those that are able and wish to stay.
